The Ignite Your Imagination: Your Future in STEM & Life Sciences event, delivered in partnership with Lateral, H.I.G. Realty Partners, the LIFT programme, and Tower Hamlets Council’s Careers & Social Mobility team, inspired Year 5 students from diverse backgrounds across North & East London. Through hands-on activities, career talks, and interactive exhibits, the event introduced students to STEM and life sciences careers, addressing industry diversity gaps. By fostering early engagement, we are creating a more inclusive talent pipeline, ensuring underrepresented communities can access high-growth job opportunities in London’s thriving life sciences sector such as Whitechapel and the Knowledge Quarter.
IHP / VINCI Building
This is a multi-stakeholder transformational project for our client, The Christie, in partnership with the University of Manchester and Cancer Research UK, who will occupy the facility. The nine-storey concrete frame structure with a 9m deep basement level accommodates 26,000m² of state-of-the art biomedical research laboratories, consultant workspace, offices and collaborative spaces for some 1,400 staff. Delivered within the heart of the Christie Hospital estate the extremely constrained footprint was bound by live clinical departments, critical infrastructure running through and around the site and surrounding residences. Working closely with the local community and delivering Social Value was a hugely successful.
Milton Park
As the UK’s largest single-ownership innovation community, Milton Park has marked key milestones for two major social impact initiatives it has taken a leading role in, Explore’s second birthday (the Park’s schools engagement programme) and Didcot Powerhouse Fund’s 2025 grants (of which Milton Park is a founding member and quantum donor): both initiatives making a tangible difference in Didcot and the surrounding areas.

Lateral & Montagu Evans, Akou, and Whitechapel Cluster Partners
The Whitechapel Life Sciences Cluster is a transformational regeneration project with a bold mission: to accelerate global health innovation while delivering long-term, inclusive impact for local communities. Developed by Lateral and partners, the 15-year Social Impact Strategy—co-created with Montagu Evans and Akou—offers a pioneering, mission-led framework to address health inequalities, unlock opportunity, and embed social value in development. Through initiatives like affordable lab space, STEM engagement, and community wellbeing hubs, the strategy is already delivering real change. This entry celebrates a new model for place-based collaboration, aligning public and private partners to drive systemic, measurable, and community-led impact
