Charles is one of Stanhope’s most longstanding team members, joining in 1989. He’s a Senior Development Director and heads up the science and tech workstream, having gained a huge amount of experience working on projects at the British Library and White City Place. Charles is a specialist in the ‘front end’ of the development process including identifying and securing new opportunities, managing all aspects of pre-development including planning, as well as generally de-risking projects to enable implementation to take place. He’s been involved with some major mixed-use projects including Ruskin Square, Television Centre and the Royal Albert Dock and is currently busy heading up the British Library extension project. Charles is a Chartered Surveyor, has looked after PR and communications for Stanhope, and was an advisor to the Photographers' Gallery.
