The UK Science Park Association (UKSPA) represents over 150 science parks and innovation locations across the UK. Its members include park owners, investors, developers, and professional service providers. UKSPA aims to enhance economic competitiveness by sharing best practices and supporting the growth of science parks, innovation hubs, and STEMM businesses.
For over 40 years, UKSPA has fostered the development of key innovation sectors, including Life Sciences, Digital, Space, Cleantech, Agritech and Advanced Materials. In recent years, significant investment has driven the creation of new parks and the expansion of existing ones, now supporting around 6,500 businesses and over 140,000 high-value jobs.
UKSPA members play a pivotal role in uniting academia, the public sector, and private enterprise. They provide businesses with access to networks, funding, expertise, and high-quality facilities to commercialise and scale STEMM innovations.
