MEPC Milton Park
Designed for science, technology and advanced engineering companies, MEPC’s Nebula development at Milton Park offers seven timber framed R&D workspaces, totalling 76,000 sq ft. A pioneering low-carbon commercial development, Nebula was driven by the project team’s collective ambition to deliver a new R&D scheme which seamlessly blends design and sustainability, creating an attractive work environment for occupiers to innovate. With the design brief asking contractors to consider how their proposals would maximise sustainability and social impact, close collaboration across the multi-disciplinary project team was essential. The integrated approach embedded these goals at every stage, from conception and completion to operation.

1000 Discovery Drive is an exceptional addition to the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, setting new standards for life sciences infrastructure in the UK. This state-of-the-art, 107,027 sq ft multi-occupancy building combines high-quality laboratory and office spaces, providing an innovative and adaptable environment for scientific discovery. 1000 Discovery Drive goes beyond being just another life sciences building; the project demonstrates how intelligent design, sustainability, and technical excellence can combine to deliver a dynamic hub that fosters collaboration and innovation. Its integration within the CBC supports academia, industry, and healthcare partnerships, strengthening the UK’s position as a leader in biomedical research.
Sheppard Robson
Set within the rural landscape of Melbourn, Cambridgeshire, this new technology campus is shaped around TTP’s values of non-hierarchical, collaborative working.At the intersection of science, engineering and business, the campus is moulded to the ethos of TTP and its passion for invention. From the briefing process emerged an innovative approach to bring together labs and offices in totally new ways.Three buildings each address a specific part of the brief: the Exchange (a social place to decompress, relax, and collaborate), the Hive (a mix of office and labs), and the Tech Barn (for large-scale science projects).
IHP / VINCI Building
This is a multi-stakeholder transformational project for our client, The Christie, in partnership with the University of Manchester and Cancer Research UK, who will occupy the facility. The nine-storey concrete frame structure with a 9 metre deep basement level accommodates 26,000m² of state-of-the art biomedical research laboratories, consultant workspace, offices and collaborative spaces for some 1,400 staff. Delivered within the heart of the Christie Hospital estate the extremely constrained footprint was bound by live clinical departments, critical infrastructure running through and around the site and surrounding residences.
