This innovative scheme combines manufacturing space with flexible, rentable laboratory space in a city-centre location. The highly functional solution incorporates complex servicing and manufacturing requirements, whilst also being adaptable and customisable, helping to make it a sustainable model for future development. This new building type, and Kadans' wider Tileyard Quarter, will bring leading research and local employment opportunities to this historically important industrial area.

17 Columbus Courtyard is the reinvention of the former Credit Suisse office building in Canary Wharf to create a 190,000 sq ft flexible laboratory and office hub as part of the burgeoning life sciences offerings in Canary Wharf. The retrofitted building will offer premium workspaces to the science community, with a mix of fully fitted, Cat A and shell and core finishes, catering to a range of occupier type and size. The reimaging and redevelopment of this building will provides a new lease of life while making a significant contribution to Canary Wharf as it moves into the future.
